Introduction
Satellite channels do occasionally stop broadcasting on their existing frequencies and move to another. You will notice that a ‘Remove Services’ appears on where the channel existed on your favourite (Bouquets). The other is where you simply get a blank channel when you press the channel. This is also the case for brand new broadcasting channels - an example being GRTS (Gambia TV)
Please note that these channels share the same satellite
9.0E Eurobird = WALF, TFM and TOUBA MEDIAS
7.0E Euteldsat W3A = RTS, GRTS, 2STV, AFRICABLE, TPAI, ORTM and ORBTV
28.2E Eurobird = Freeview channels such as BBC1 & ITV
13.0E Hot Bird = TELESUD, SAUDI and AL JAZEERA INTL
28.2E and 13.E are usually available to people with motorised dish. If you have a stand alone Senegal dish these two satellite positions will not apply to you
To scan any of the above channels or a new channel on a certain satellite position start by pressing a channel from the satellite position you wish to scan from.
Please note that a signal of less than 76% indicates a weak signal and therefore you are very unlikely to get the channel in question. In such cases you will need a satellite dish installer to fix your dish properly
